Architecture Design 1
The module, which was primarily instructed by Mr. Yoong Chern Li, also included tutors Ar. Lim Wey Shan (the module coordinator), Ar. Chang Yan Yee, Ar. Chong Sue May, and Ms. Raihana Zainuddin. It was made up of three progressive studio projects that gave students an introduction to the fundamental ideas of architecture.
PROJECT 1
Geometry and Form: Architectural Design Elements & Principles
Learning various design principles and elements was the first step in completing this assignment. The next step was to create 3 distinct combinations of elements and principles for our upcoming tattoo stamp and model designs.

I acquired the knowledge of architectural design elements and principles by constructing geometric 2D artworks and converting them into 3D form. The methods and procedures for coming up with concepts and creating designs are illustrated below.
PROJECT 2
Structure and Body: Materials, Anthropometric and Ergonomic Exploration
We were split up into several groups for this project so that we could work with the bamboo and supporting materials. This enables me to comprehend not only the nature and traits of bamboo but also how it may be used into our design. In this project, I discovered that using unusual materials to construct a structure rather than conventional ones like concrete might be more creative.

PROJECT 3
Space and Sensory: Self - Exploration through Spaces
Project 3 will examine my ability to implement my approaches thoroughly while utilizing what I have learnt from the past projects. In Project 3, I was requested to review the shade structure I had created in Project 2 as well as further develop it into a sensory space that would account for and anticipate the requirements and emotions of its users. I have to express my feelings from my first-year student experience through this assignment.
