PROJECT 1
Diagramming Architectural Principles
We are required to learn from precedents, examine their design objectives and principles. This analysis must go beyond simple site and contextual considerations to include an investigation of solids, planes, lines, and frames used in architectural design. The components of architecture and architectonics—produced by drawing and model making—that constitute architectural shape and space are highlighted. This helps to better understand how environments are made by constructing architectural and constructional aspects, or architectonics.
REFLECTION
In this project, we learned to design a structure with design elements and principles by analysing a precedent study. Also, we are more familiar with demonstrating design principles and elements using diagrams. We discussed design concepts together and learned from each other to create a better design.
